Mobile frontend developer

We are looking for a mobile frontend developer to maintain and build new features for our mobile application. In order to do so, you will use react native. You will work with a backend developer and a product manager throughout the software development life cycle. Our stack is built around Typescript, React Native, Node.JS, Docker, GraphQL, MongoDB and AWS. In this role, you should be a team player and you will use your problem-solving skills in order to implement the best solution. You will have the flexibility to choose the best solution which meets the objective. Your goal will be to build efficient programs and systems that serve user needs. Thus, UX knowledge is a plus, although not necessary.

Responsibilities

Produce clean, secure and efficient code based on specifications to improve our mobile application
Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade the existing application
Work in an agile environment, in direct collaboration with the CTO of the company
Recommend and execute improvements

Requirements

Relevant experience as a mobile app developer
Knowledge of Javascript/Typescript, React-native and git
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
Ability to learn new languages and technologies
Excellent communication skills
Resourcefulness, flexibility and a good sense of initiatives towards the challenges that inevitably occur in a start-up
Good English. French is a plus
UX knowledge is a plus
